Red : Love,I Love You

Lavender : Love at first sight and enchantment.
Verities include Allure, Bluebird, Blue Curiosa, and Stranger.

White roses are given to those who are innocent, reverent, and pure. They are very commonly used in weddings. They can also be given as a sign of secrecy. The park, to be housed at Puteri Harbour in Nusajaya, will boast a floor area of 60,000 sq ft and another 100,000 sq ft of retail space.Themed Attractions and Resorts (TAR) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional, today signed an agreement with HIT Entertainment Ltd, Sanrio Entertainment Ltd and Kampung Boy Sdn Bhd.According to TAR chief executive officer Tunku Datuk Ahmad Burhanuddin, the indoor theme park would be an additional attraction in Nusajaya and Iskandar Malaysia.TAR also signed an agreement with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts for the development of a 300-room Traders Hotel, as well as UEM Land, for the construction of the indoor theme park.So,let us welcome for this coming Hello Kitty restaurant together!!!

SD as Super Dollfie is a brand of ball-jointed ball or BJD made by the Japanese Company  Volks.They are made to be easy to customize and are primarily marketed to adult doll collectors and customizers.They are cast in polyurethane resin, a porcelain-like, hard, dense plastic.The most common standard models are about 60 cm, or 2 feet, tall, taller and heavier than most comparable Western dolls.The term "dollfie" is a portmanteau formed from the words "doll" and "figure".The original dollfie dolls are Barbie dolls sized vinyl figures, and the term "Super Dollfie" was introduced to distinguish the larger resin dolls.

Reunion Dinner

In Chinese New Year traditional,every Chinese will have a reunion dinner with family the day before the 1st day CNY (chu yi),we called it as 30th night.But this year very special,we didn't have 30th night,we had 29th night,and the next day will be 1st day (chu yi).

The story of Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is just around the corner! Are you excited like me? Well,this 2012 is Dragon New Year,at here,I wish all of you guys a Happy Dragon Year! But did you hear ''Nian'' story before?And did you know why Chinese people like to play firecrackers when CNY?  Well,I will tell about this story form the started to the end.

Chinese New Year is the Grandest festival for Chinese people.The spring festival also called as ''nian''.But this ''nian'' word was once the name of a furious monster that lived on human beings in the ancient time.The legend says,long ago,there was a monster called Nian.It was born with sharp teeth and a long, powerful tail. It spent most of the year in the deep ocean. But on the lunar year end, it came out to the villages, destroyed all the crops, and swallowed people and other living things alive. People were so terrified that at the end of every year, they would flee to remote mountains to avoid suffering from the disaster.It was the last day of one year (later called Spring Festival Eve), an old man walked into a village. All the other villagers were so busy getting ready for their escape that no one paid attention to the newcomer. The old man walked slowly along the street, looked around in satisfaction and showed no intent of running away. A benevolent granny saw the man and persuaded him to flee with her. But the newcomer insisted to stay and asked for sheltering in the granny’s house, saying “if you let me stay, I can assure you that Nian (the beast)will never come again.Shaking her head with regret, the granny allowed him to stay and fled away with other villagers.

Then,Nian (the beast) ran into the village after mid-night. But he found something was different.Red colour paper was pasted on the gate of the granny’s house and the room was lit with candlelight,making it as bright as daytime.Glaring at granny’s house, Nian ran toward it with great anger. But when it was almost at the door, cracking sound of firecrackers came from inside the house.Nian trembled all over in great fear when it heard the sound. Though the beast was fierce and cruel, it was extremely afraid of the color red candlelight and the sound of firecrackers.At this time, the old man was wearing red clothes from top to bottom and came out the house laughing fearlessly at the beast. Turning pale with fear, the wild beast fled in halter-skeeter.Frightened villagers returned to their homes on the very next day (later called Chinese New Year’s Day) and to everyone’s biggest surprise, the old man was still alive. After knowing the secret of beating off the beast, villagers began wearing new clothes, sending regards to neighbours, friends and relatives to congratulate them for escaping the disaster.

The next year, every family pasted red papers on gate,set off firecrackers and put candlelight in red lanterns  to light their rooms on Spring Festival Eve. On Chinese New Year’s Day, everyone puts on their best clothes and send rewards to each other.Gradually, these activities became custom and were passed down from generation to generation.Well,this is how the CNY come from.Finished story!

Traditional Chinese New Year Food and their Superstitions

Since Chinese New Year is coming soon,my family members are busy here and there.My mum busy in preparing the food and doing the houseworks.And we decorate the house and so on.On New Year's Day,the Chinese family will eat a vegetarian dish called Jai.Although the various ingredients in Jai are root vegetables or fibrous vegetables,but many people attribute various superstitious aspects of them.

People believe that it's signify having many male offspring.

Ginkgo Nuts

Ginkgo nuts name as 白果 (bai gua) in Chinese.My mum will cook it every year with tong sui.Ginkgo nuts is good for health.It helps to relief asthma and long congestion.It also regulate blood flow and promote general longevity.This year,my bff came to my house and help me up.Thanks to him too.Well,ginkgo nuts represents silver ingots.So,when CNY,many people will eat it represent silver will come to you.=)

Black Moss Seaweed

Black moss seaweed or Black hair seaweed is an algae and is eaten on Chinese New Year.Its Chinese name ''fa tsai'' (hair vegetable) which means prosperity,as in ''gong xi fa tsai'' and ''gong hei fa choy'' in cantonese,which is a greeting exchanged during chinese new year which means good luck and prosperity.It is a homonym for exceeding in wealth.

Homemade Sambal Belacan Sauce

Since Chinese New Year (CNY) is just around the corner,my mum will make Sambal every year used as condiment.Sambal is very popular in countries like Malaysia,Indonesia,Thailand and Singapore.The Sambal can keep fresh frozen for about 2-3 months.
Now,I'm going to show you how to make Sambal.

Ingredients:

• 3-4 pieces belacan.
• some green chillies.(depend personal taste and amount)
• some red chillies.(depend on personal taste and amount)
• some lime juices.

Preparation:

1. fried the belacan until the colour changed about 15-20 minutes.
2. cut the red chillies and green chillies in pieces.
3. use blender to blend the green chillies and red chillies.
4. then blend chillies with belacan and lime juices.
5. after that,add some salt into it.

A delicious and nice Sambal has been done.=)
P.S If you add water or orange juices,it will not taste good,and won't be last longer.Lime juices is the best.
